Mahosky is a professor of fine arts at Kutztown University. He earned a master-of-fine-arts degree in painting from Stanford University and a BFA degree from the Tyler School of Art at Temple University.
His work has been exhibited in galleries across Pennsylvania and in New York City, Houston, Portland and Paris. Mahosky works extensively with high-school art programs around the state. He founded and directs the Mifflinburg Art Center, which provides art education for all ages in a three-county area of central Pennsylvania, and has taught art and drawing courses at the federal penitentiary in Allenwood.
